Many thanks Kim for your efforts...
To all watch members: Please respond to Kim's email to decide where you want the camera and how many...my suggestion will be to place them in high density corridors i.e. Peck Ave., Shepard Ave, Carolina, Denison, Kerckhoff.
As for cost of cameras...someone at the meeting suggested we ask a neighbor in the Point Fermin area who already has a system in tack...unfortunately I do not remember the neighbor's name nor his address..

The Point Fermin area has recently organized a neighborhood watch. We are planning on coming to your next Coast Council meeting asking for funds for cameras and equipment to help fight the graffiti they are having near the park. What do we need to bring? Do we need a letter stating what we will do with the funds or just a breakdown of the costs? Copies for all members? How do we get on your agenda?
Thanks

I don't know where a camera should go, but I can tell you where I have observed repeated tagging over the past several months.
1. The corner of carolina street and 39th street.
2. carolina place at 39th.
3. Along Gaffey from Pt. fermin park to 36th.
4. Paseo del Mar, from Gaffey to Roxbury.
I'm sure there's more, but that where I have noticed REPEATED, not just one time, taggings.
I assume the cameras will be "hardened."
